Terms of Service for UHere Account

Last Updated: April 2, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating a UHere Account or using QRPunch or SecurePunch, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use our services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and UHere Pte. Ltd. ("UHere," "we," "us," or "our").

2. Description of Service

UHere Account is an authentication service that enables you to sign in to UHere applications (QRPunch, SecurePunch, etc.) and access your account online (via Firebase Authentication) or offline (local authentication).

3. Account Registration

3.1 Eligibility You must be at least 13 years old (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction), capable of forming a binding contract, and not prohibited from using our services under applicable law.

3.2 Account Creation To create an account, you must provide a valid email address (required for all accounts), plus either a password (for email/password authentication) or OAuth authorization (for Google/Microsoft sign-in).

3.3 Account Security You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password, all activities under your account, notifying us immediately of unauthorized access, and logging out from shared or public devices.

We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized use of your account.

4. UHere Account Usage

UHere Account is solely an authentication service. It does not have account types, roles, or permissions. Your UHere Account credentials are used to sign in to UHere applications such as QRPunch.

Permissions (Owner, Admin, etc.) are managed within each individual application, not at the UHere Account level. Refer to the specific application's terms and documentation for permission details.

5. Authentication Methods

5.1 Email/Password Authentication Password requirements are enforced by Firebase. Email verification is required. Password reset is available via email recovery. The local password is synchronized with your Firebase password for offline access.

5.2 OAuth Authentication (Google/Microsoft) Email verification is automatic (trusted by the provider). You can link multiple OAuth providers to one account (matching email address only). You can unlink providers at any time.

5.3 Offline Authentication Grace period: up to 30 days from last online authentication. Available for email/password accounts only — OAuth accounts (Google/Microsoft) require an active internet connection to authenticate. Password is verified locally using bcrypt. You must reconnect online after the grace period expires.

6. Application-Specific Terms

When using UHere Account with applications such as QRPunch or SecurePunch, additional terms apply. By using an application with UHere Account, you agree to both these UHere Account Terms of Service and the application's specific Terms of Service.

7.2 Enforcement Violations may result in account suspension or termination, license revocation, or legal action where applicable.
